Mark Rice grew up in Fritch as the pastor’s son. After graduating high school, Mark attended Heartland Baptist Bible College. While a student, Mark traveled with the Vacation Bible School team for three summers. After graduating Heartland in 2010, Mark interned at Bethany Baptist Church in Lubbock, Texas for two years. He then moved to Jefferson, Texas to be the Assistant Pastor at Heritage Baptist Church.
In 2014, Mark moved back to Fritch to serve at the church as the youth director for one year, and now teaches the Pathfinder’s class for middle age adults.
He and his wife Linda, who were married in 2016, besides teaching the teenage Sunday School class, are also involved in the various children’s ministries.
